The Uptown

The facade of the Uptown, DC's last great movie palace. Star Wars premiered here in 1979. It has closed as a theater for good, unless some kind of civic action comes along to save it. At least it won't become a CVS because there is one across the street already.

Scott: I grew up going there. Remember the Star Wars premier. Venerable institution. Forgot the sad news of its closing. If it could be renovated like the Warner downtown or Avalon up the street... it'd be nice.
Seems unlikely. Like the tones you managed to capture in the stone work. What do you think of Catlabs 80?

@JWMster So far, pretty happy with it. The emulsion is a little soft (I did scratch one but I also did fumble the loading of one sheet into the Jobo and dropped it, that's probably the one that got scratched). Certainly grain is not the issue. It's best shot at ISO 25, I think, and given a bit more development - I'm running mine at 14 mins @ 75F in Pyrocat HD 1:1:100.
