One of my first negs. Finns Point National Cemetary is one of the smallest National Cemetery, but it contains remains from almost every armed conflict from the Civil War up to the War on Terrorism.
An interesting note is that both the Union and Confederate troops from Ft. Delaware prison are buried here. Some 135 Union guards, and in excess of 2400 Confederates.
Another item of interest - to which I have yet to find the answer - is there are 16 markers for German soldiers, with dates in 1944-1945.
