That is awesome use of lines and composition and converting 3d into 2d.
 
I also admire the dynamics of this composition. Overhead utility wires and poles are "background" for most of us. We often want to imagine that they really aren't there, and sometimes try hard to compose streets scenes to support this denial. Grasping these "undesirable" elements and using them to bring strength and movement to a composition is a much better alternative. But the question remains: is the truth that is out there about the birds flying north, or the transformer being cooked?
 
If it were printed darker, the slightly ominous or mysterious quality would come out better. The geese add a lot to the composition, and it's the relationship between the person, the power lines, and the geese that makes it interesting. There's a lot of empty sky that could be dealt with as negative space to accentuate that relationship. The back of the jacket the same. What I'm saying is that I think it's a good picture that could communicate better and become great with some work.
