"The Shot"

I was out with Tim ( noseoil) at the Per Volquartz Joshua Tree workshop in January when we both saw this image. I went back to the car to get the 8x10 to make two exposures just before the sun went down, A quick and dirty Azo contact print. Got a piece of hair on the tree branch. Damn I must wear a hat in the Darkroom! Tim coined the phrase. Thanks Tim it was a great day.

Jim, looks like you got it. Been waiting to see what was on the film. Is that left edge a development artifact or just a scanning blivet?

Really enjoyed our little outing that afternoon and the workshop in general. Saw Victor & Ria on saturday at the races. best, tim
