This frae and picture shop is crammed into a small archway in the centre of Chester. The darkness of the rear of the shop and the need for a good DOF meant the shutter speed was slow enough to blur the shoppers.
I like the way it gives the sense of bustle but would welcome other critiques.
I think that the tilt conveys a sense of "being there
I think that the angle shot gives a sense of a picture taken impromptu. It shows the absence of a "correctly composed photograph" and, for me, works here. It also has more impact in this way. I hope that you will not now tell me that it was an accident ;-).
Thanks for the comments , as to 45 degrees it was a busy street with a pretty unimpressive store either side, the angle allowed me to take the shot reasonably quickly (given the darkness at the back) and not worry too much about a perfect composition.
Hope that makes sense - plus I love to experiment, as you say I think it works.
