The Miracle

People on escalators fascinate me. Where to look? What to do? Looking up the escalator shaft is rather vertiginous for me, causing me to lose my balance. Looking across, however, I can spot people on the other side. This one reminds me of the album cover from the Queen album "The Miracle"

Aligning the face and that Barbican poster was either great reflexes or a happy accident. I like the surreal element it gives.
I'd love to say it was planned but alas - it was a happy accident. I've been doing a lot of escalator photography (I like the idea of the way humans are shuttled around on conveyors) and this one worked out... well, really well I think. Thanks for the comment!

No-no-no. Pretend you're Cartier-Bresson and say it was the decisive moment!
