Hi Carl
I tried it cropping it but have decided, having looked again at the poem that this photograph will go alongside, i think it may work as it is. It is meant to represent Autumn and Leaves falling off the trees.
The Measure of Leaves
Leaves drift softly earthward toward the grass
Spring and summer blend from green to gold
And so the seasons come full turn and pass
Day follows day and each of us grows old.
Somewhere there is a bright new shining day
And as these seasons pace and turn
We will live in joy complete and never say
That for younger days our hearts still yearn.
Oh, please don't change a thing! This is a gorgeous photogtaph. The light is perfect and the detail of lanterns and leaves is outstanding. I have been using Ilford warm tone myself recently but without such spectacular results. I really, really like it...

Lovely delicate photograph. The cropping works for me- any tighter and you might start to confine the graceful sweep of the branch. Thanks for sharing.
