Possibly the hardest light I have ever encountered. Everything above Zone V appeared to be fluorescing

Hi David Lyga. Thank you for the commentary. The light was extraordinary that day, as was the wind chill. Even in October, one would certainly perish up there in just a few hours without protective gear. I was with a fast-moving group so this was very nearly a snapshot. The light was crying out for a piece of 4x5 or 8x10 film but alas, ‘‘twas not to be.

Wow!! Not bad for "nearly a snapshot"! Proving once again that the best camera is the one you have with you. Great catch.
