Yes, the "landscape" has a certain appeal, but as Mark Twain said, "a woman is only a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke." Same thing goes for great cats. The old girlfriends have gone, but in memory the cats remain faithful friends forever. Here's to Pippin!
Ol' Pip was an amazing creature; taught himself to pee in the toilet. My mistake was thinking I could teach him to flush. I had to listen to the ka-chink, ka-chink, ka-chink sound of him batting at the chrome toilet lever until it drove me nuts! Throw him out of the bathroom and closing the door would start a serenade, and that was just as bad.
