Yipes!! I've never seen anything like this on film. Can you share some details as to how this might have happened? IIs every frame on the roll similarly affected?

@ronwhit The bulk film was loose in a can, nothing wrapping it. But it wasn't fogged. I have no idea how old it was or how it had been stored before I got it. Anyway, not every frame on the roll looks like this. But every frame was defective in some way.
This frame just had a massive patch of emulsion eaten by mold.
The unexposed, undeveloped film was sitting around for decades - in a damp place, is my guess. And the mold started to eat the emulsion - specifically, the gelatin.
This is great! By coincidence, I just finished developing and scanning a moldy roll of Tmax 400 in 120 (Nothing as radical as this, but in a real sweet spot).
