I am going to try this as a lith print as well as straight print.

I've had a love/hate relationship with infra-red photography since the late 1970's. For me, it either works, or doesn't. For inappropriate subject matter, the medium leans toward the "gimmicky". I think what you've done here is quite elegant, and would even like to see it as part of a small series (8-10 images). Well done.
