Lawrence, KS has program where they display outdoor scupture for a while and then change them. Came across this guy and an empty candy box at his feet. Just seemed like a good idea.
Nice work with this one. I think you got pretty good contrast with this paper. My paper of choice is Strathmore Plate - double coated, as it gives deep, rich blues and still retains good detail in the highlights.
I honestly don't remember what brand of paper this is. It was an inexpensive pad I bought at Hobby Lobby to practice with. Turns out it works pretty well. This is a bronze statue with quite a bit of backlight.
