The Gift

A first excursion into the field with the Hermagis Eidoscope. Now that I see what it can do stopped down a tad (it's an f5 lens, I shot this at f8), I am in LOVE with the way it renders skin tones. This is a quick and dirty neg scan, will print in platinum later.

It certainly looks good here (skin tones). The composition is pretty cool - intensity, some uncertaintly (the held object - ostrich egg?).
