I like the relationship between the near stone and far high rise block. Looks cold and windswept. The DDX and Delta looks a good combo. I use DDX but haven't tried it with Delta 100 yet only with the trad FP4+ and HP5+. What size print is this?
This is a full frame on 10x8, Im actually rating at 200 and developing by hand - 20 degrees @ 14 minutes. DDX is sharp and a bit grainy, i like it - it's all i've used for the last couple of months.
Im going to get this shot again - it was a very difficult print (i was shooting strait into the sun). You can see my masking around the top of the gravestone.
Thanks. I knew that DDX is a speed increasing dev but at double box speed this still looks good. Nice to know that 200 is possible with this quality when conditions call for it. Actually I am not sure I can see your masking even after you have brought my attention to it. The gravestone looks quite dark at the top but this seems to be natural. Maybe I am easily pleased but if I had got to this point with masking, I'd have been pleased and would have quit believing I had got ahead as they say.
Quality at 200 is so close to 100, i shoot at 200 most of the time. An extra stop comes in handy sometimes. I've never liked my results from 400 iso films. Im either at 200 or 1600!
