Another in the series on the people and things most important to my wife. This actually was the first taken in the series, but not scanned until now.

Evoking image....in Moscow I visited a cemetary where the markers were constructed of steel from destroyed war machines and guns....it was a Veterans cemetary...

Yes, wonderful proof the photography can be powerfully personal and expressive. Bravo! I can't wait to see the rest of the series.

I think this is some of what I've been missing in my own image-making activities. Oh, I really gotta get into alt-process, or maybe at least try my hand with a Holga.
 
The tintypes you've posted are very nice. I find them intriguing and they draw my attention like a magnet. Seems like an interesting process.
