The Dog

The Dog

Last Frame, on the same rolls as the Awa Island pictures. Got home was sitting on the floor and my 6 month old Shiba Puppy was watching me clean up and put away my gear. Used the last frame on him, didnt have a meter so I just guessed. Came out pretty good for handheld.

Thanks for the nice comments. He really wont get that big. Shiba's only get to about 25 pounds. There is a bigger bread that looks just like this, Akita's and they get near 100 pounds when full grown.

The tail is naturally curly, as are Akitas. The tail is almost always curled unless the dog is frightned or asleep. Its very strange.

Thanks for looking.

I was hoping it was an Akita when I saw the thumbnail, but, a very nice shot of very handsome dog.

Hi George,

Thanks for the comment. Akitas are nice dogs, but too big for where we live. A shiba being about 1/3. A friend of mine has three of them and they are truly wonderful pets.
