The Dominion House, or D.H. is the oldest continuously operating tavern in the district, dating back to the 1880s or before.Over the years it has been a hangout for university students and faculty, and more recently has been an excellent venue for new music talent. In the 1970s they had $5 steaks, which I often had on a Friday night. (Until I got food poisoning one year.)
