The Color of Night MSA

Was last week in Rotterdam at midnight to shoot some work for the MSA: The color of Night.

I like the glittering objects on the path. For me this somehow points to the fact that the glittering objects in the sky - the stars - are almost invisible in the town. Even if projects like "The Color of Night" would not be possible without all the city lights, it might be interesting to connect it to the topic of light pollution? See:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd82jaztFIo I hope I do not bring in my much too personal ideas here - since I also like photography of the city lights very much (I hope I can submit some pictures for the MSA too) - but I also do some amateur astronomy...

Thanks Heinz, great stuff this timelapsfilm, very interesting - but I also do some amateur filming...

I like that "sky in the pathway" look! Was that accidental or intentional? Very well done!
