Thats excellent for a first attempt. I am encouraged, as I wish to do this myself someday. Did John Coffer guide you? Did you mix up your own collodion emulsion?
Yes I spent three days with John. He's a gracious host and an excellent teacher. We pretty much went through his whole manual. We used collodion that John had mixed previously because it has to age before use. By the third day we were making our own albumen paper, sensitizing it, and developing glass negatives and intensifying them to the right densities for printing with albumen. I'll post a scan of my first albumen print as soon as I pick up some dry mount tissue or maybe I'll try flattening it and scanning. I normally print in platinum so I haven't had the need for dry mount tissue until now. Thank you for the kind words. Robert
