The Burnham House in Essex, MA USA is a well known attraction for photographers. It sit's just off a main roadway. I set my camera up in the parking lot of the restaurant that over looks it.
Officially it's the Mabel Burnham Home. Artists call it "Motif #2". That should give you an idea of how often it's photographed, painted, or sketched by artists. I believe it is still occupied to some extent. There's a clam diggers boat just to the left of the structure. If you google it you'll get a million hits with artwork, but very little history on her.
