The bridge across

I have always liked these meccano-type footbridges. They look best over old fashioned railways on which steam trains used to run.

We have a couple of disused railway lines in Northamptonshire, U.K. but now converted for walkers and cyclists and the site of a decaying, solitary footbridge over "nothing" is very evocative

Lovely side lighting gives the print some great tones

I too have a soft spot for these sort of foot bridges but thought it came from our Triange Railway Train Sets we had as young boys.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, maybe it is the little boy inside, but I became fond of these old bridges from the first time I saw one.
