The Boat

When I was younger I grew up in a small coastal area. one christmas there was a man with a new boat he took it out in bad weather and on its maiden voyage it washed upon the rocks. 2 weeks past and in the 2 weeks nature had made her into a rusting wreck. That summer was golden in my memory and the ship was such a novelty to play on.
this is one of my first rolls of black and white ever shot.

Love this, it may be chance, but the receding cloud and dynamic of the figures, gives it a sort of heroic look.
