Scored an unopened 250-sheet pack of Kodabrome II RC (F3) 8"x10" paper on eBay a couple years ago. Finally pulled it out of the freezer to test. Very, very little fogging when developed in Dektol. This is one of the prints. Works well with lower contrast negatives.
I want to advise you that that (slightly fogged) paper would be able to deliver a full contrast grade higher if you printed somewhat darker and then reduced it back to normal in diluted version of Farmer's Reducer. That stuff works magic to bring back pure whites without invading the integrity of the blacks. - David Lyga
Years ago, Kodabrom was my favorite paper. Looks like even works well when old. I have one box left from my Dad's darkroom - guess I need to try it when the right photo comes along. The Farmer's Reducer is a good idea, David.
Can you imagine riding in that position trying to fight off attacking planes, and not knowing what is going on up front? Took a lot of guts!
