I keep a bottle in my darkroom, because it's shorter than other scotch bottles and fits on the "quarts" size chemical shelf. As a true scot, I refill it with cheap stuff.
Bill, I believe that is called "aging scotch" Yes, Katie... a dollar store magnifying glass set in some black matt board. As with virtually every image on APUG, the scan does not do the print justice. In the case of the Ilford Art 300, this is especially the case, because though it has texture, it also has a bit of gloss, which frustrates attempts to get a clean scan. It really looks lovely in hand. Because this is a paper negative, all the red tones (including the lovely whiskey) are virtually invisible to the camera. Coigach... that's a new one for my list. Thanks folks.
