Textured Windmill-Blue

Experimenting with self-made texture screens. These are underexposed grass. Two different kinds. They are then sandwiched with the subject in the enlarger.
I think they are too strong. What do you think?

While I agree that the effect on these is a little strong, I think you are definitely on the right track. You could... a) reshoot the texture negatives. b) bleach the existing ones. or c) expose the subject and texture negatives separately. I think the third option would give you more flexibility, and now that you have an idea of where the image and textures lie, you can dodge and burn to control the texture to your liking. Keep at it. Tom
