Tetons in color

Tetons in color

here is the one 8x10 E6 that came out perfect. out of only 3 negs that were ruined, they were all my 8x10 E6 stuff. ARGH! i broke 2 dark slides during transport and had one leaky holder. (why they could not have happened to my numerous B&W shots i will attribute to Dr. Murphy!)

here is the B&W shot that i ruined with my poor development techniques: http://www.apug.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=29372&ppuser=9453

This is beautiful. I love Teton shots, but the inclusion of the weathered barn, the time of day, and the interesting cloud pattern put this shot together nicely. Well done!

Great time of day! Wonderful light and subject matter. Love the cloud formation!

Hi Eddie,

The composition is a solid home run. However, I find the overall image is too flat and dull due to low the contrast of the image. Chromes tend to produce high contrast images so I was very surprised when I saw your photograph. Was the original scene this flat? Perhaps the scan of your film was flat? If not then I would be suspicious of who developed your film. The chemistry might have been exhausted or something else such as improper temperature or development time will effect the contrast of the film.
