testing old lenses....

I have a growing collection on old lenses, and I am trying to see what they can do for me...

this is a very old Lancaster landscape meniscus type lens, and I removed the lens part from the barrel, and placed it reversed in a shutter.

just a simple portrait of Stine, but going for soft, romantic images, then I think it did the trick..

these old landscape lenses are not too expensive, and many of then are quite small, so that's a way for this kind of images, for those also with smaller LF cameras..

Hang on to this one! It is a real keeper, I woulld certainly say. Excellent flare and softness. Beautiful image and exceptionally well done!

Really nice lens quality for sure. Beautiful portrait, beautiful light.

thanks.
I have several "landscape" lenses in different sizes, and they are all great to work with, even though the results are a little different.

so many tools... so little time.
