Wow, I really like this! You've photographed atmosphere, and I wish I was there with my own dog (can't imagine how the 'California Native' would react to his first experience with snow, but I'm sure it would be worth a few chuckles)
I've come back to this one a few times now. I don't know exactly what it is I like, but i like it. Reminds me of northern Manitoba. This must be atypical snow for your part of the world
No, not atypical. Eagle Bay is in the southern interior of BC, on Shuswap Lake about an hour east of Kamloops in a transition zone between dry and wet. Glad you like it.
Isn't the first snowfall great? The sun would have come out hours ago and the sky is a pure blue, yet, under the forest canopy it can 'rain' all day from snow melting off the branches above
