Recently I had the pleasure of leading a street photography walk, during the Flash Fest photography festival in Winnipeg (flashfest.net).
I deliberately chose an older part of town, a bit poorer but very rich visually. Unlike new suburbs, older areas were made for people (not g****m SUV's) and therefore are easier to find photos in.
This is one of the frames from that event.
A good piece of street photography. I take it that the gent in the background is not part of Team Jesus? If he is then he certainly doesn't seem to fit the " blessed are the meek" category. Perhaps he represents the vigorous arm of Christianity that doesn't tolerate wise-cracking punks if I may imitate the kind of diction that seems to fit here
I think pentaxuser should be writing screenplays - sure would be better than most of the crap on the screens these days! The guy in the background was having a beer at the Legion, he came out to the street for a cigarette, where this woman joined a few others of the faithful from one of those churches that don't subscribe to the notion than one's spiritual practices are deeply personal matters.
