Tea kettles

These were shot with my Kodak 405mm Portrait lens on 8x10 film. I decided to get a little experimental with it and scratch the negative with an Xacto knife on the one side and scribble with a fat Sharpie on the other. Beginning of an idea...

I'll be interested to see where you go with this, though I'd probably play on a print first - I lack your moral fortitude to experiment on an 8x10 sheet!
If you look carefully, the negative had a lot of problems - it had moisture damage, and I cropped out the edge fogging the whole way around the sheet- the negative was sufficiently imperfect that I was willing to hack away at it figuring I would not ruin further what was already a mess.
