I'm with Andy on the hoovering part. It's really nice how you presented this scene, and how you chose to place the gray scale. Very beautiful!
(As an aside, I wonder if you have an enlarger problem, as the left side has an increased intensity of light).

Thanks to all for the comments. Thomas, the problem is with the operater rather than the enlarger - the sun was rising off to the left, and I didn't burn the left edge enough. For some reason this is exaggerated in the scan. I'll have to pay more attention to this when I print it again.
