Tatoo girl

I wanted a gritty look to the photo, so i printed the photo below a glass-plate with some gunk on it.
This is an attempt to re-create an idea the model saw on the internet and I am pretty pleased with the result.
(the print is dark and blocked in places, this is completely intentional, the first 10 12x16 inch papers went straight into the bin, because they had too much detail in the shadows :)

Due to the size, scanning was not possible, this is a photo of the print.

Haha thank you all for your comments.
I made 3 prints when I got the hang of the dodge/burn stuff, where I varied the intensity of the layer on the glass, so the other prints have different looks concerning this.
What I was trying to achieve, was the same effect as putting a black/white photo over a color photo in photoshop, then turning that black/white layer into soft light blending or overlay mode, fun way of experimenting to see the effect (albeit a little expensive perhaps  )

Wonderful Ole Henrik. Your efforts really have paid off.

very creative and see we can learn from non photo people if we keep our minds open
