Synagogue Great Room

Pictured is the windowed wall in the great room of an abandoned synagogue that had been in Saginaw, Michigan. This is were wedding and bar/bas mitzvahs receptions would have been held. Where klezmer would have been played with gusto, where people danced, celebrated a hopeful future, and engaged in community functions. It was a a truly beautiful space I was able to capture just months before the structure was razed.

Great photo (and a nice story!). I love the faded glory of these old buildings.
