Found this leaf on a walk yesterday. This is a "wet cyanotype"... I wet the leaf with water before I put it under a sheet of glass on the paper. This is the first cyanotype I've ever made. What it looks like right now after printing. I think all I need to do now is wash it?
Had some 25% AFC and some 10% pot ferri, so I mixed 25 drops AFC with 30 drops pot ferri and brushed it on an 11x14 sheet of canson marker... let it dry about 30 minutes ( not all the way dry ) and put the wet leaf on it with a piece of 8-1/2x11 picture frame glass on top. I guess I'll wash it and see what happens next. Very fun! I was surprised how dark it got.. was expecting it to be more blueprint color around the outside. Was afraid it would be just a photogram, since UV must have trouble getting through a leaf, that's why I let it go so long. Looks neat right now hope it doesn't all wash out.
Thanks Andrew... as I'm sure everyone here who makes cyanotypes already knows, when I washed it, the outer area turned a bright cyan color. The leaf stayed a nice dark blue inside with white highlights.

@winger Thanks! I haven't scanned the final result... maybe this weekend -- I'll post a note here if I do. As it dried, the color inside the leaf changed quite a bit. I still like it but it's definitely not the same!
