A rare phenomenon occurred last week in the national park just north of me. Cold windless nights and no snow left the lake mirror smooth and reflective, and you could see through the ice to the sandy bottom 10, 20 or more feet below...absolutely magical.
I took my Hasselblad out and burned off some film - very glad I did. The sights and sounds will remain with me a long time.
Wow, what a striking image! You did good! We often hear how great shots are made when the weather turns, but it doesn't have to be snowy or rainy or blowing.
