It is too bad that people do not want to view this image, the color, lighting, texture, and detail of the prints are really lovely.

Stunning color, Rich. I love the water beads, but, I have to admit to a real love for this type of subject. You did a really great job.

Thank you for your kind comments. As I mentioned I used 3 tungsten fiber optics to light this image. A ring light from behind and to "spots" from the front. The camera set-up as mentioned was my Leica R8 with a Leica Bellows R and a Leica R f4.0 100mm Bellows Macro Elmar. As was reviewed in Modern Photography, and confirmed by many people including my friend Jim Lager, the author of many of the books on Leica, and myself can attribute this is a very sharp lens that can render beautiful shades, tones and textures to B&W, color negative, and color transparencies. The large prints of this image exude the color, texture, clarity, and petal veination of the rose.
