I love it when photographers are willing to take the medium in the direction it naturally wants to go. This is a spectacular example of that. Marvelously seen at the outset, precisely interpreted to pass that vision on to the viewer, and technically executed in such a way as to directly play to the medium's strengths, not it's weaknesses.
