I really like the subject matter and the way in which you have produced a coherent composition, a rich range of tones and great mood in ths image. In short, it works very well for me. Thanks for posting it.

Really wonderful

Being large format I tend to like this print but using a super wide angle without fisheye effect would have made this a great print. one anyone would hang on the wall. I would have used a 75mm for 4x5 or my 90mm on my 5x7 or even my 121mm on my 8x10. these would give you a great perspective without the distortion from the fish eye.

I like the fisheye effect on this image. It makes me see the scene not as a rectilinear human, but as a goggle-eyed amphibian slough dweller. This is sort of the frog's-eye-view. I also like the light falloff around the edges, or did you do that in the darkroom?

I have this lens too, but the only body it works on (Pentacon Six) is broken. Alas.

Excellent. The fisheye effect makes this really stand out from other "lake and boat" shots. I love it.

Found as a random photo. Beautiful ....... and perfectly done ! r.
