Superga

Shot on a pretty cloudy day, close to the entrance of Basilica di Superga (Turin). I liked the columns dwarfing the tourists, even though the "previsualization" of this effect was even more dramatic.

Scan neg for now. Any suggestion for printing this is welcome :)
Very nice composition and point of view I think. From a printing standpoint, it looks fine to me as is, when printing I'd suggest just trying to more or less duplicate what you have here. I think it would be a little stronger if there was only one person in it, the one standing in the back. If you have ready access to this location and a friend who would "model" for you and if it's possible to photograph at a time when no other people are present, you might try photographing it that way, having your friend stand where the one person in the back is standing (or being the model yourself using the self-timer if there is one on a IIIf and if you can run fast enough : - )).

Campbell, thanks for taking the time to comment this! This church is not that far from where I leave (30 minutes car ride more or less). I might try your suggestion one of these days! And yes, the Leica IIIf does have a self-timer, even though I have never used it
