One of my favourite places to look for pictures is riverside in the French quarter of St. Boniface. It's consistently interesting, neat mix of people and enough serendipity to keep it interesting.This woman was doing a portrait shoot and graciously stood in for a quick picture for me.

Very, very nice. I love the sharp focus of the gate post and her and the sunlight through her umbrella, then the softer focus in the background - definitely conjures the fading day for me. Her heels are a great touch. Colors are appropriately soft and imagery is terrific. Really nicely executed, at least the finished product give me that impression. Inspirational work. Thanks.
