It's amazing how little is actually required to make an interesting photo. Thanks to you, I dug my Spectra out of the closet and am now emailing scans to friends and family. Somehow, I like the colors better than d******. The lack of ultimate sharpness enhances many portraits - at least in the eyes of the sitters!
Robert - I find polaroid film to be quite warm in tone if it's inside and only just enough blues/cool tones outside. I was doing a long exposure with the same film pack earlier and it's extremely pinky-orange in tone. Partly down to tungsten lighting but I have another photo taken just indoors with available sunlight and similar tones came out of it.
Steve - Nothing wrong with polaroids and soft focus sometimes. The sonar sx-70 I used actually autofocuses and the clouds were just that wispy.
I think my neighbours think I'm mad going out nearly every evening to take pictures of the sunset by standing on a picnic table... or they think I'm spying on them
