Sunday ~ UK Spring APUG Gathering, Cornwall

I'd have loved to have seen the bag/backpack whatever needed to carry a monster like this, and wondered if you maybe had a shot showing this? It isn't an idle request as I've just bought a wholeplate camera and it just seems awkwardly sized (mainly the 20cm depth) for many bags on the market. Thanks, Peter.

Peter, I don't carry it in a backpack, it either gets carried on the tripod or better still by its carrying handle.

Ah, thanks for letting me know Ian. I've got mine in a cardboard box at the moment, but it's a question of how far from the car I can take it in that. I've seen a potential solution on another site, so may now be off to Debenhams to have a look!

It`s a very good Camera by the look of it as well. When I held it, the Camera felt surprisingly light. It`s much lighter than my 8x10 monorail.

As Keith will remember we discussed the fact that both Ansel Adams and Brett Weston used 10x8 Agfa Ansco's and I know Steve Anchell is another photographer who still uses one.

It does fold up nicely and the rear extension protects the screen.

You might try a pack made for a French easel. It is essentially a board with some straps to hold the easel in place.
