Fantastic, Eirik! I very much enjoy the juxtapositions of light/dark, horizontal/vertical, and also the textures.

Thank you very much for noticing. I knew the contrasting tones and lines would work well, if I did my job properly. I must admit, sometimes fate hands you an image (light, subject, context...) on a plate, and you can hardly go wrong. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to make the most of such situations. But sometimes not much is working for you, and you have to work harder with what you've been served. This is one such an image, and I'm so happy with it I might nominate it for my favourite of the year (from my own feeble body of work mind).
