I'm finding it harder to photograph them together! This was a sufficiently boring enough day that they finally agreed to be within the plane of view of my lens!!
Suzanne another great image, instant recognition. This one sits next to my computer. Nice composition, the empty swing is a nice touch, the "dull" moment is perfect and the lighting perfect for this photograph. Nicely printed, too. What can I say... )
How old are your boys, Suzanne? Love this image. I have a 12 year old boy and he thinks I'm so wierd because I love B&W. You have just reminded me how important it is to take some new photos of him before he changes again!
Kate... they are 8 and 6. And they think I'm a little weird because of this black and white photography thing that I do... ah well!! Hope they appreciate it when they grow up!!
What an entertaining photograph. At least they're outside doing stuff instead of sitting around inside complaining about being bored... Can you tell I have kids myself?
This is great! My son, too, always thought B&W was a bit weird until he got into high school and discovered the darkroom. In no time at all, everything he took went to B&W, analog or digital... now it's all lith and extremely high contrast. Just give them time... they'll appreciate it. And if they don't, you'll still have these great prints. Thanks for sharing.
funny how a boring day gives way to a very memorable photograph .... my son and daughter were targets(subjects) at that age and I treasure the images immensely ... espacailly since they are in their 20's , more complicated and expensive.....
