Studying the score.

Caffenol test print. Work in progress. Note: extremely low darkroom temps = long processing times = creeping stain on edges of paper. Any hints on how to avoid this?

Not sure about the stain issue but I like this. I find still life a challenge, though I keep trying. This has a lovely movement about it with the curves. Good one!

Thanks, AJ. I find Still lifes a great challenge and a good way to exercise my mind and equipment during a long winter. I should mention, in regards to a recent thread about the philosophy/ethics of cropping, that this was shot on 4x5, but with the intention of cropping it to this proportion. The shelf on which I set this scene is just over 8" high, so I did not have a lot of room to work with. I like the proportion, though.
