Most impressive, Rorye. I love clarity, tones & hanging on to the detail in the bright face of the church.
 
That looks very good. I was looking at a Cook PS945 lens in the flesh only a few months ago, I also saw some results in the flesh and became interested in Cooke lenses. As a result I learnt a bit about the XVa, very interesting lens indeed. I assume from the apparent compression I think I'm seeing, you may have been using the lens at it's longest length. Whatever the focal length you have used, it is striking, the red filter seems to be the icing on the cake. Mick.
 
Thanks guys! Mick it's a beautiful lens and I'm getting to know it. This was actually taken on the 19inch setting but from low down on a steep driveway giving an interesting perspective.

This is gorgeous! and on 8x10 film - staring at that negative bust bring a great sense of satisfaction.
