Rudy, the tones are out of this world. I half giggle 'cause the rest of the image may be great also, but the tones are just wonderful. 'Like the streetlamp backed by that dramatic sky.
I would only repeat what HiHo has said, but i wanted to add to the upcoming chorus - super photograph for all those reasons and more. Profoundly good bead on target here.
Rudy, I love this photo. I don't know how much you "rescued" it from the underexposed negative or if this is straight from the scanner. If the latter is true, it's not "heavily underexposed" at all!
The highlights are detailed and maybe there's little detail in the dark areas, but I see no problem. I like this dense and heavy atmosphere. HiHoSilver couldn't have chosen a better word: dramatic!
@fdonadio Thank you. The scan is straight from the scanner. I would say I used the CF 80mm. I am not 100% certain. But when I walk in a city with the blad I only take the 80mm with me and take no notes. So I think it was the 80mm. Now this was 10 years ago. The 503CW is long sold, one of my huge mistakes. I recently got a 503CX and a 80mm. I really missed the blad.
Rudy, I have a 500C/M that my father gave me about 20 years ago. I had some difficult times in my life and considered selling it to raise money, but always changed my mind. I feel happy that I didn't sell it!
