This is the first time I've used a Deep Yellow filter and my Cokin GND filter together. It worked well, I think.

Yeah it does look good. I looked at this with a cropped foreground and then with a cropped sky and am torn on all three. I think if I was going with Stormy Weather I'd accentuate the sky by getting the horizon line out of the middle and taking off some foreground which to me adds a more dynamic and less static picture. But in reality it works in all three ways anyways.

Michael, I don't usually use words to make compositional decisions...rather, it comes down to adapting Ellington's dictum..."If it looks good, it IS good." But, thinking about it now, the centered horizon's serenity plays against the obvious turmoil of sky and tide marsh. So, that's either a great idea, or an idiotic one! lol!! Brad, I use the P model. Apparently Cokin now makes their filters and holders in S, M, L, and XL. The L series accommodates filter rings up to 96mm. I would prefer that series to use with my 82mm filter size 45mm lens to prevent vignetting.

Beautiful.
