I like the atmosphere of it and the almost sureal aspect of a ladder in between trees. I think, that if you darkened the sky even more, maybe to "reach" the ladder it would accentuate the mood even more.

I really like this, made me think of Jack and the Bean stalk except this would be Jack and the ladder!
