Storm over Grose Valley

Sorry, school holiday next week and I'm demob happy.
I really like the shot though. Did you take one without the filter for reference ? I am looking to use filters with BW and would love to see some examples.

Thanks for the positive response. Unfortunately I did not take a "control" exposure without filter. Certainly the cloud detail on the left of the print would not have been as good (I did not have to burn this in). There would have been little effect on the dense, black cloud on the left.
